Music is that guiding light that helps me get through my work. Even when I’m feeling stressed, a tune can calm my soul and help me power through any projects that I have to do. What I have been doing of late is going through my musical archive, to find artists that will get me pump when I work.  While going back through time, I did stumble upon one artist that I didn’t even know that I had. The artist is Uffie. I know that some of you are wondering, who the heck is an Uffie? Don’t worry, I will explain who this artist is.

Uffie is an artist who released her debut album Sex, Dreams and Denim Jeans in 2010. The album style was a mixture of synthpop, electro and rap. Mix that all together and it took me in. I really can’t explain why I find the album entertaining, maybe because it’s bubbly and fun.  Also, I’m a huge sucker for synthpop. All I can say is that the album has helped me get through one of my projects. Back in the day, if I were to tell my friends that I like this, I’m sure they would have raised an eyebrow at me and say What the hell is wrong with you?

I’m glad that I reintroduce myself to Uffie. I really do like her music. It did make me wonder what happen to her. Searching online, I found out that she is working on a new album. I hope that it is as fun as the first album.  So give her a shot and see if she swept you in just like me.
